oggy182
Well, after having the car for about 3 years now i think its time to do a progress thread, so ill try and post pictures of when i first got it and to where it is now, keeping in mind its been 3 years! i got it like this, standard ct9, had a blitz nur spec system, tein coilovers a blitz access ecu a front mount a hks dump valve and some bloody dashboard gauges that seemed to stay in the car for way too long. after getting it dynod it made 161bhp, i decided to make some changes with the engine, fitted a short route fmic pipe, alloy rad, a hks actuator and a gizmo boost controller it wasnt long after uping the boost the clutch started to slip so ended up going for the stage 2 exedy one finnaly then i got some new wheels for it! after that it was the paintwork issues, like the roof laquer and the boot needed to be smothed then started collecting some pieces for td04 and other extras to be fitted at a later date then the inevitable happened , what id heard so much about, started blowing oil from the oil breather and missfired. so strip down! and found no1 piston ruined.. after fixing it up and driving it around for a while i got bored of constantly cleaning white wheels, as using the car as a daily they always looked sh*t high all the time and didnt really like them in white anyway so they went candy red and then a picture of it on the dyno with td04 which it made 224bhp then got a few other bits like a toms front bumper and spoiler and a whitline rear arb and fitted all those, also our workplace got flooded so felt obliged to take some pictures a while has passed now and recently started to get bored of the red (and having scuffed the wheels once or twice lol) i played with one wheel painting it black, and silver and then blue, but none of them looked good on it so just went for a candy pearl purple then pretty much straight after me and some work mates, and even the misses went on a track day , so i took off my wheels and front bumper (just incase lol!) then after that it pretty much stayed the same for a while so heres a couple pictures of a charity phototshoot after being td04 for a while now and somehow getting used too it being pretty nippy and thinking its slow again, it was time to forge and get some better power out of it, so some bits arrived so the strip down begun and all the machine work was given to an engine shop just to bore out the block, knotch it and deck it, as well as getting the head skimmed and the crankshaft balanced and machined. i also replaced one of the valve stem oil seals again for good measure, and found one of the inlet valves was not 100% so they all got changed for genuine toyota parts along with some shims that wernt of the correct measurement. also replaced the td04 for a vf24. and while it was off the road i also finnaly got rid of the gauges that were in the dash and got a new boost controller and then after some driving around for a month or so it was booked in and going on a nice road trip to tuning developments to get the ecu mapped and my rx8 injectors fitted. where they found a few problems like the king lead and coil pack where corroded and not sure how it still ran, and also the tial wastegate was found to be a replica!! but after buying a new wastegate and a set of leads it made 307bhp at 1.4 bar which im over the moon with! and thats pretty much how it sits now, tried to keep it fairly short and will hopefully keep this a regular update when i can Edited April 21, 2015 by oggy182

Probably about the same as a td04 the exhaust housing is a bit bigger than td04 as well, plus it's ball bearing

oggy182
For some reason I got bored again with the colour, think it's cause the outside looked the same as it did at japfest last year, so went for candy orange, as you can see the sprayer did too many coats so ended up being really dark, so here's a few pics and some pictures I took at japfest.Pretty much as soon as I got back from japfest I sprayed the wheels with some rattle cans cause I hated the colour of them so much Then bought a new gearbox with a kaaz lsd so started cleaning it and waiting on the clutch
